Service providers will be authorised to write the classes of insurance listed in the contract notice within EU member states subject to English law and jurisdiction of English courts. This tender does not require the services of insurance brokers. The authority cannot enter into a contract with an organisation who satisfies the grounds for mandatory exclusion and has the discretion to exclude organisations as set out in Regulation 57 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Service providers should satisfy themselves that neither they, nor any other person who has powers of representation, decision or control in the organisation have been convicted anywhere in the world of any of the offences within as listed on https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/551130/List_of_Mandatory_and_Discretionary_Exclusions.pdf which should be referred to before submitting a request for an insurance tender document.
