The services will be conducted Monday-Sunday 52 weeks of the year. Some site timings may vary due to size, location and local demands. The following locations are in scope: Addresses: 1) Leeds General Infirmary: Great George street, Leeds LS1 3EX; 2) St James University Hospital: Beckett Street, Leeds, LS9 7TF; 3) Chapel Allerton Hospital: Chapeltown Road, Leeds, LS7 4SA; 4) Wharfedale Hospital: Newall Carr Road, Otley, LS21 2LY; 5) Seacroft Hospital: York Road, Leeds, LS14 6UH; 6) Leeds Dental Institute: Clarendon Way, Leeds LS2 9LU. The Trust vision is to be a locally, nationally and internationally renowned centre of excellence for patient care, education and research. Our goal to be the hospital of choice for patients and staff requires all of our facilities to provide a range of products that meet both customer expectation and deliver a quality customer experience. The retail catering facilities that are provided for staff and visitors need to meet these goals. Today’s customers at the Trust have a right to expect a high-quality, value for money service as there is a wide reaching age range of potential customers with varying disposable income brackets. Despite there being wide age range of employees, ‘fresh food’ features highly in their preferences as opposed to convenience based dishes. This all concludes with the need to offer a quality menu selection that includes healthy options and affordable pricing to the staff and visitors throughout the day. In addition, bidders must provide details on food safety systems, menu labelling, pricing structures, value for money and CQUIN compliance.
