I.4) Type of the contracting authority: Higher Education I.5.1) Main Activity: EDUCATION Curriculum Management System Implementation II.1.4) Short description LJMU is seeking a vendor to supply a curriculum management system and provide expert business and technical consultancy related to the implementation of the solution (the Project). The curriculum management system must effectively manage the full curriculum lifecycle at LJMU, from programme and module design, to validation, approval and publication. The system will deliver: • a single source of truth for the University's curriculum; • high quality and reliable data; • effective and efficient processes across the University; • reduced processing and administration time; • quality assurance processes; • detailed and flexible reporting; • flexibility/configurability to support changes in requirements and processes; • integration with LJMU systems via Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). II.1.6) This contract is divided into lots: no NUTS code: UKD72 II.1.4) Short description LJMU is seeking a vendor to supply a curriculum management system and provide expert business and technical consultancy related to the implementation of the solution (the Project). The curriculum management system must effectively manage the full curriculum lifecycle at LJMU, from programme and module design, to validation, approval and publication. The system will deliver: • a single source of truth for the University's curriculum; • high quality and reliable data; • effective and efficient processes across the University; • reduced processing and administration time; • quality assurance processes; • detailed and flexible reporting; • flexibility/configurability to support changes in requirements and processes; • integration with LJMU systems via Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The successful tenderer will be expected to work collaboratively with business and technical experts at LJMU to deliver the following services: • project management; • requirements gathering/analysis with key stakeholders; • solution design; • set up and configuration of solution based on LJMU requirements; • migration of historical curriculum data; — review existing LJMU data and suggest options, e.g. automated load, manual entry; — provide solution for data migration if possible/advisable; • integration with LJMU systems; • training of administrators and end users; • quality analysis/testing; • go live and post-implementation support. Please refer to Appendix A: for full specification 1.2.1 Governance The successful tenderer will be expected to: • attend the project initiation meeting (to be attended by representatives of LJMU and the successful tenderer); • produce an accurate project plan that is agreed by LJMU; • attendance, either in person or remotely, at the project board meetings (to be attended by representatives of LJMU and the successful tenderer at such frequency as required by LJMU); • submission of information regarding the tenderer’s progress for inclusion in the project status reports (to be submitted at such intervals as required by LJMU); • production of requirements and design documents that are to be approved by LJMU in writing prior to the successful company commencing the build of any LJMU specific customisations to the solution; • escalating to LJMU’s Project Manager, as soon as applicable, any issues that will impact on the planned delivery date.
