The key interest is to have a system which allows flexibility (in terms of material and component design/complexity) to (re)manufacture those components in a large size range. The appointed supplier must be able to provide the cold spray system and an enclosure to ensure the equipment can be operated safely. II.01) Estimated value excluding VAT: GBP 800000 II.1.6) This contract is divided into lots: no NUTS code: UKM82 II.1.4) Short description 1) this tender is to create a high-performance cold spray system; 2) the integrator is expected to build the enclosure and fully integrate the technology as a turn key solution; 3) the enclosure should be resource efficient and have measures in place to reduce the carbon emission impact; 4) the integrator is expected to carry out a SAT and deliver the equipment to the NMIS; 5) enclosure is controlled by a computer and a common programming language (i.e. G/M codes); 6) capable of depositing steels, titanium and aluminium; 7) comply to all H&S regulations for all technologies (i.e. soundproof, LEV, etc.); 8) the cold spray system must be located on a robotic system. II.2.5) Award criteria: Criteria: Quality Weighting: 60 Cost/Price Criteria: Cost Weighting: 40 II.02.07) Duration in months 33 II.2.7.5) This contract is subject to renewal: no II.2.10) Variants will be accepted: no II.2.11) Options II.2.11.2) Description of options The contracting authority reserves the right to request additional deliveries by the successful tenderer, either intended as partial replacement of supplies or installations or as extensions of existing supplies and installations. The contracting authority may at it's sole discretion exercise this option. The procurement is related to a project and/or programme financed by European Union funds): no III.1.2.3) List and brief description of selection criteria 4B.1.2 — Bidders will be required to have an average yearly turnover of a minimum of GBP 1 600 000.00 for the last 3 years. 4B.5.1-4B.5.3 — It is a requirement of this contract that bidders hold, or can commit to obtain prior to the commence of any subsequently awarded contract, the types and levels of insurance indicated below: The contractor shall maintain in force with reputable insurers Employer’s (compulsory) liability insurance = GBP 10 million Public liability insurance = GBP 10 million Professional liability insurance = GBP 2 million. In respect of any one incident and unlimited as to numbers of claims, and adequate insurances covering all the contractor’s other liabilities in terms of the Contract. III.1.3.2) List and brief description of selection criteria 4C.1.2 — Bidders will be required to provide examples that demonstrate that they have the relevant experience to deliver the Services/supplies as described in part II.2.4 of the OJEU contract notice or the relevant section of the site notice.
