The Council requires multiple suppliers to provide their services to supply and deliver short and long term use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and corporate wear. Lot 1 will list core essential PPE items for the ‘Stores Catalogue’ required by highways and fleet, which will be maintained by the highways stores depots. Following MEAT evaluation, the top 3 ranked suppliers will be invited to call-off without competition from the framework tender to list their best priced items in the stores catalogue.

Any expenditure, work or effort undertaken prior to contract award is accordingly a matter solely for the commercial judgement of potential suppliers. The Contracting Authority reserve the right to use any electronic portal during the life of the agreement.

The framework is for 48 months. The value provided in Section II.1.5) is only an estimate. We cannot guarantee to suppliers any business through this Contract. Under this procurement the contractor is required to actively participate in the economic and social regeneration of the locality of and surrounding the place of delivery for the procurement. Accordingly contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations.
