In November 2019 Argyll and Bute Council published their Seaweed Farming Feasibility Report (‘SFFP’) on a study “to determine the feasibility and opportunities for establishing a seaweed cultivation industry in the region and the markets potential growers could access” Crown Estate Scotland now wishes to procure consultancy services to test the economic recommendations of the published report with a scenario-based study of confirmed participants, development type(s) and end products that can provide a focus for future business development measures and associated support.
