NUTS code: NO051
II.2.3.2) Main site or place of performance:
Vestland.

II.1.4) Short description
The aim of the procurement is to reduce or avoid the challenges involved with an outdoor location. We want to prevent sprouting and the danger of external infection. In addition, the pool lids must be light-proof to the greatest possible degree so that we can control light access to simulate day and night. There must be hatches that give easy access to the pools from the front and across the middle.

We envisage a wall-to-wall lid with two hatches. The hatches must cover an opening that is 2.5 m wide and 4.6 m deep. Both hatches must be sliding on rails/rollers, with an option to push them past the centre of the pool and beneath the pool lid. This concerns lids of Ø7 m. The lids of Ø5 m must have an opening of the same width and the depth must be approx. 3.4 m. We envisage an overlap between the hatches in the closed position. This is to prevent light penetration. It must easy for one person to operate the hatches. The contracting authority is open to assessing better systems, with, for example, lifting, revolving or folding hatches. Robustness, light-proof and simplicity considerations will be decisive.

It must be possible to operate the pool lid construction from the pool edge at the front and from the gangway with access to the centre of the pool. The front of each pool is marked on the drone picture in Annex 4.1.

There is a wastewater system in each pool that consists of a perforated pipe that functions as a sieve. Different types of perforated pipes have been used, suited to the size of the fish. It must, therefore, be easy to dismantle the centre pipe in the pools, but it must also be possible to fix it mechanically. We would therefore like proposals for a mechanical system for fixing the pipe in the lids or to the pool. The delivery of this system is to be seen as an option.

The carrying construction for the actual hatch system must be self-supporting independent of the pools and walkway, but the sides can rest on the pool edge. It must be possible to dismantle and remove the pool lid construction in special cases.

The contracting authority has prepared a solution proposal in cooperation with Østerbø Maskin AS and procured a prototype of a pool like (with Ø7 m), which has been assembled for testing. However, we are also open for other solutions, see the sketch in Annex 4.2. However it must be possible to complete the prototype in accordance with the requirements in the requirements specification. The completion of the prototype is to be considered as an option.

In the intended solution, the existing walkway over the pools must be raised by no more than 40 cm and assembled on trestles placed between the pools. The step access must be extended and adapted.

The contest will be held in two phases, with phase 1 being a qualification phase 2 being the tender phase.
