The cruise shall focus on different acoustic sonar measurements. It shall also include systematic visual observations. The vessel shall not carry out fishing and requirements for quota or regulations regarding compensation for lost quota shall not apply. The contracting authority will participate with 3-4 persons. The cruise shall, in accordance with the plan, departure from and arrive in Bergen. The contract period is 10 cruise days and nights from 9 September to 18 September 2020. If the vessel needs to be mobilised and subject to acoustic calibration of the sonar and the echo sounder first, the cruise will start as soon as the vessel is ready. Mobilisation is not included in the cruise period, but must be included in the daily rate for the cruise days. Mobilisation of the vessel is estimated to take approx. 24 hours before the cruise starts. The cruise and hire period will start when the vessel has been mobilised and acoustically calibrated.
