Extra care schemes tend to be larger than sheltered schemes and provide direct access to a care provider 24/7. All schemes have an accommodation scheme manager. In Peterborough there are currently five schemes consisting of 224 units. This open tender applies to two extra care schemes in Peterborough; Bishopsfield and St Edmunds. 1.2 This procurement is being run in accordance with the Light Touch Regime, provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (Chapter 3, Section 7: Social and other specific services).
